Matter is made up of atoms only. A form of heat energy and it is related to the motion of the molecules of matter. The molecules of matter are always moving.Molecules of gaseous matter can move quite freely in a closed space. The process of obtaining the laws of conduct of gaseous matter is known as the kinetics of gas.The key to kinetics is that the molecules of gas move at random speeds due to thermal excitation. As the temperature of the gas increases, the average kinetic energy of the molecules increases. When heat is removed from the gas, the average kinetic energy of the molecules decreases. So the kinetic energy will be zero at absolute zero temperature. This means that the molecules will remain stationary at absolute zero temperature and have no kinetic energy. But before reaching absolute zero temperature, all the gases are converted to liquid or solid state.
With various behaviors of gas, such as diffusion, osmosis, self-evaporation, vapor pressure, expansion of gas, brownian motion, etc., the general explanation of gas can be deduced from the motion of the gas. Brownian motion also provides direct evidence of motion.
A gas whose molecules adhere to the basic assumptions of motion at any temperature and pressure and behave according to the formula derived from the assumption is called an ideal gas.In fact, no gas behaves like an ideal gas, only imagination. However, we can get an idea about the behavior of real gas from all the sources of this ideal gas.
